Vinyl Silicone Primers, Diluent and Fluid

Silicone primers assist in the adhesion of RTV silicones to substrates. For example:

Some RTV silicone potting compounds with a low adhesion require the assistance of a silicone primer in order to achieve an excellent adhesion. Primers are a transparent liquid made from silicone. Before using an RTV silicone potting compound, apply a thin coat of primer to the substrate joint and allow it to cure at room temperature, or through additional heating in order to promote adhesion.

Some RTV silicone conformal coatings do need to dilute their viscosity, and Zhaoshun diluents do work for that purpose. Add a specific proportion of the diluent to the conformal coatings and mix thoroughly before coating.
